There was a girl who loved the world.
She saw them at their lowest and loved them at their weakest.
She served the people but always left feeling depleted.
Every night she found herself home, alone. Yet, she knew she was guarded by a King. A heavenly King.
She would praise him silently. She would praise him openly. She talk about His goodness boastfully.
She never knew a love like this could exist. The sweetest love, one not duplicated. One hard not to miss.
Then one day her flesh grew weak. Her flesh longed for a love that could be physically seen.
She wanted to look at the arms that were holding her. She wanted to stare into the eyes of a man that loved her.
However, the more she longed for the warm touch of man, the further away she pushed her King’s hand.
She didn’t realize she was searching for a prefect man and there is no such thing.
She searched for a temporary moment to bring her flesh momentary relief.
Each time she searched, it prolonged her grief. No one ever met the standards of her Heavenly King.
No one could fill the void she created for herself. No one, but God could restore her spiritual health.
God was all she needed.
The peace, the joy was unmatched…undefeated.
As she began to find comfort in the Lord,
He soon blessed her with much more then she bargained for.
